SAAG ERG and Maharashtra Foundation co-sponsored a lunch talk on “Empowering Women through Humanization of Men” by Harish Sadani of Men Against Violence & Abuse (MAVA) organization. The speaker shared his excellent work of over two decades that he and MAVA are doing in India.

He gave an eye-opening account of the process of raising children with a mindset of discrimination against female children who have only their mothers as role models, who themselves are subject to long traditions of discrimination. Harish described how his chosen method of educating boys in the street, without shaming them about their existing thoughts, have had success stories worth sharing
